Bulls sign ex-Jet Sauer

The Boston Bulls of the World Football League announced yesterday the signing to a multi-year contract of former New York Jets wide receiver George Sauer, Jr.

Sauer and Bulls coach Babe Parilli both played on the 1968 Jets team that won the Super Bowl championship.

A six-year veteran with New York, the 6-2, 195-pound Sauer retired from the Jets in 1970.

The Bulls also selected Boston College offensive guard Tom Condon as the league concluded its collegiate draft yesterday. BC's New Guillett was picked by Toronto and the Eagles offensive guard Joe Sullivan was tabbed for duty with the Detroit franchise in that fledging league.
