Charlotte, NC - Tonight may be Temple's biggest night. It may be Roman Gabriel's most important with the Eagles. It may be Villanova's biggest day in a climb toward respectability.
But it's also an important date for the other team in town, the Bell. The beleaguered World Football League team meets the Charlotte Hornets at 8 p.m. in American Legion Stadium (TV-Channel 29, no radio).
The Bell added two more players yesterday, defensive back Rod Foster and defensive end Willie Cullars, who was cut by the Eagles earlier this year. Both will be activated tonight. Also likely seeking action will be linebacker Skip Singletary, a former Temple star.
